OMAMNI

Inclusion of seniors

Omamni is a social economy company that aims to break the isolation of senior citizens by promoting the economic integration of women who are far from employment.

With the exception of contact with healthcare professionals or home helps, many seniors have no social interaction whatsoever. These visits are very often the only time they get to talk, listen and share during the week.

OMAMNI offers a range of services to create social links with the elderly, in the form of home visits, outings and skills-sharing workshops. OMAMNI supports and employs women who have had little or no contact with the world of work, often as a result of migration.

  • Maryam Diakhité : President
  • Haïbata Diakhité : Vice-President

What social/environmental problem does OMAMNI address?

OMAMNI responds to a number of socio-environmental challenges by acting to bring about lasting change. Firstly, through the social aspect, by encouraging the creation and maintenance of social ties and combating ageism. And economically, by giving women who are far from employment opportunities access to them. Secondly, via the territorial aspect, by anchoring itself in a given area and working in partnership with various local players, particularly in the SSE field. Finally, via the environmental aspect, by carrying out actions with low environmental impact.

FIFTH WHEEL

Promoting civic commitment

Cinquième Roue aims to collectively redefine the notion of citizenship among France's youth. To this end, the project's promoters will be meeting young citizens aged 16 to 30 across France, with a view to interviewing them and exchanging views with them. The project is part of a participative dynamic. The field study carried out will feed into the next actions of a future association built around citizenship and in line with SSE principles.

This tour of France will be carried out using a soft-mobility vehicle, promoting a model of ecological and environmentally-friendly travel. The vehicle will be inspired by existing low-tech techniques, enabling a mobile "redefined citizenship stand" to be pulled by two bicycles, as well as supplying power to the stand, notably for charging electronic equipment (computers, cameras, etc.).

  • Paul Pacini: Co-founder
  • Baptistin Hin : Co-founder

STRATA responds to environmental challenges, notably by recycling waste and integrating it into short circuits, as well as social issues by providing access to affordable housing and user participation.

REVALO (EX-SMARTPHEED)

University cell phone collection network

Smartpheed is working to strengthen the reconditioning of smartphones, while developing a viable economic model that creates new business. Smartpheed is the first university cell phone collection network, making it easy for students to sell their unused phones (or those of friends and family).

Smartpheed acts as an intermediary between students wishing to resell their phones and refurbishing companies (in Europe and soon in France). It does this by creating testing jobs exclusively for students, as well as delivery jobs.

This system enables a phone to be tested and collected in less than 10 minutes, and paid for within a day.

  • Malo Donat : Co-founder
  • Aubin Lefebure: Co-founder

What social/environmental problem does Smartpheed address?

Smarpheed is first and foremost a response to the environmental challenge of extending the lifespan of cell phones. The aim is to give a second life to the unused phones that are collected. Smartpheed is also taking action on social issues, fighting against the precariousness of delivery drivers (by offering them work at a fair wage) and student precariousness (by offering well-paid jobs as testers).

THEMIS DRUMS

External battery rental and recycling system

Themis Batterie designs and operates external battery distributors. Users can recharge their cell phone by renting an external battery from a terminal, and return it once the repair has been completed.

It repairs and recycles them, thanks to technicians who have joined the workforce on open-ended, non-displaceable contracts.

Themis is aimed at people who have been excluded from the workforce and who are on a path to integration, at citizens who want to reduce their annual carbon footprint and their production of waste electrical and electronic equipment, and at "smart cities" looking for sustainable, connected solutions to improve their energy efficiency and promote citizen mobility.

Today, Themis is the only player in the battery sector to be an ESUS company, promoting green innovation that creates jobs and sober habits.

  • Phédon Cacouros : Chairman

What social/environmental problem does Themis address?

Themis responds to environmental challenges. As an ESUS-accredited SSE company, Themis works to promote a circular recharging economy and energy sobriety. What's more, the company meets social challenges by creating jobs for people on integration schemes.

CATALIZ (EX BOBOLIB)

Ecological transition consulting

The BOBOLIB - Transition Advisor project is to create a platform that helps individuals who are far removed from committed ecosystems to make their transition, step by step.

The platform would support this transition on five levels: food, mobility, housing, work and consumption. To access this service, a national number would be set up. On the first call, an operator would create a profile (individualized "ecological" diagnosis), and offer customized information to help you make your own individual transition. The platform would also enable appointments to be made with players in the local ecosystem (cooperatives, associations, doctors, etc.). It would also be possible to arrange with the operator for a regular call (once a quarter, for example) to review progress.

BOBOLIB - Transition Advisor aims to turn eco-anxiety into action.

  • Claire Le Floch : Founder

What social/environmental problem does BOBOLIB - Transition Consultant address?

BOBOLIB - Conseiller en transition aims to respond to environmental challenges by facilitating action by citizens wishing to take action for the climate.

ILLICOGREEN

Eco-responsible consumption

Illicogreen was born of several observations. Firstly, eco-responsible products are often too expensive for a student budget. What's more, there's a lack of visibility on where to find these products, and many companies today engage in "greenwashing": they claim to offer eco-responsible products.

Illicogreen aims to encourage students to consume eco-responsibly despite their small budgets, and to enable eco-responsible businesses to expand by reaching the student market. To this end, the illicogreen platform offers students discount codes for eco-friendly businesses in all categories.

  • Marion Vittet : Co-founder - Canvassing and partnerships
  • Matéo Boukhobza: Co-founder - Digital and UX design
  • Maxence Munch: Co-founder - Finance and social networks

What social/environmental problem does illicogreen address?

illicogreen meets a socio-environmental challenge by facilitating student access to eco-responsible consumption and raising the profile of eco-responsible businesses.

BIOWASTE

Biowaste recovery

Biowaste is a project that involves the collaborative recovery of organic waste (biowaste) from individuals living in apartment buildings and from restaurant owners.

Biowaste first helps individuals and restaurant owners to sort their biowaste correctly. This waste is then collected and turned into compost. The resulting compost is used for organic farming. Fruits and vegetables grown without fertilizers or pesticides are then marketed locally, in particular to the community of private individuals and restaurateurs who have taken part in the project. They will benefit from a discount.

  • Issoumaïla Bossay Ben : Founder

What social/environmental problem does Biowaste address?

Biowaste meets an environmental challenge by recovering bio-waste and becoming part of a circular economy. Today, waste is not properly treated due to poor sorting at source. When landfilled, it decomposes in the soil, emitting methane which contributes to the greenhouse effect. What's more, as they decompose in the soil in an uncontrolled way, there's a risk of bacteriological pollution seeping into the water table. Biowaste avoids these deleterious effects by acting upstream.
