Pragmatic, scalable programming

A Point Paris Emploi, run by the Mission locale de Paris, on the premises to support young people in their search for jobs, work-study or internships, and to welcome them for meetings with companies or mentoring schemes. Several office hours organized:

• integration and guidance (CV workshops, interviews, job presentations, training offers, internships, apprenticeships, jobs...)
• on the cultural professions, with support for young artists
• with jurists and lawyers organized by the Conseil départemental de l'accès au Droit in Paris
• housing with the Comité local pour le logement autonome des jeunes à Paris (local committee for independent housing for young people in Paris)
• a permanent offerof cultural, leisure and sports outings with the Kiosque Jeunes
• the presence of health professionals, with permanent clinics on mental health and harm reduction....
• psychological support
• distribution of food parcels for under-25s by Restos du Coeur every Thursday, from 12 to 7 p.m.

A universal and welcoming place

QJ is a universal, welcoming, caring and friendly place, open without distinction to all young people aged 16 to 30, whatever their profile: high school pupils, students, young professionals, civic service volunteers, young people looking for jobs or internships, apprenticeships or volunteer work... In addition to hosting the Centre d'information et de documentation jeunesse (CIDJ) and other associative or private structures, this space in the heart of the capital enables young people in Ile-de-France to benefit from advice and solutions. Concrete answers can be provided on all subjects that concern them. Work-sharing rooms are freely accessible, and young people will soon be able to enjoy a convivial break in a café area and on the QJ terrace overlooking the Louvre Museum.

Participatory governance

In 2021, young Parisians were consulted several times on the offer, programming and governance of this space. The name QJ (for "Quartier Jeunes") was chosen from their proposals. The governance of QJ will be participatory, with the forthcoming creation of an advisory committee comprising 4 colleges:

1. institutional representatives and City of Paris departments
2. associative partners (including CIDJ)
3. companies
4. a college of young people who will be asked to give their opinion on QJ's strategy, issues and major orientations (programming of activities and services).

Répar: the Parisian network of participatory bicycle workshops

RéPAR was born in autumn 2018 from a simple idea: to form a network of Parisian bicycle self-repair workshops.

These workshops are places where you can learn cycle mechanics in a cooperative and supportive way: everyone is invited to learn and teach others how to maintain and repair their bicycles.

La boutique sans argent reopened its doors on February 16, 2022 and welcomes you every Wednesday and Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. ?

Location: 2 rue Édouard Robert in the 12th arrondissement (Métro Daumesnil or Michel Bizot).

In a cashless store, you can come :

- Recover objects free of charge to give them a second life,

- Donate things you no longer need but which could still be of use to others. All items are welcome: crockery, small appliances and electronics, games and toys, accessories, decorations, books... Just make sure they're clean, in good condition and hand-carryable (we can't accept furniture or large appliances). For reasons of limited space, we ask you to bring only one bag of items per person. There's no barter: you can give something without necessarily taking something else, you can take what you need without having brought anything.

- Take part in creative , eco-responsible upcycling, reuse and sewing workshops.

In the student quarter of Paris-Diderot University, a new solidarity store dedicated to students opened its doors on February 4. In a 130m2 space, Emmaüs Campüs offers second-hand clothing, accessories, decoration and books, at prices affordable to students.

Those wishing to do so can make donations or become volunteers, to help reduce student poverty. Student poverty is on the increase every year, and has worsened since the start of the health crisis. Emmaüs wanted to get "closer to young people" by opening stores close to universities. Here, students can find second-hand and new items tailored to their everyday needs. Special sales will be organized for students, "with adapted pricing policies".

The Maison étudiante de la Ville de Paris, in partnership with the Elle's Imagine'nt association, is opening a hotline and discussion groups for students who are victims of sexist and sexual violence.

This office and discussion group is open to all students attending school or living in Paris who are or have been victims of sexist and/or sexual violence. The aim is to offer them psychological and legal support in their efforts to escape violence and rebuild their lives.

The sessions are run by two psychologists from Elle's Imagine'nt, who specialize in the treatment of psycho-trauma. Initially, support is provided on an individual basis, but we also offer discussion groups!
Legal support will be offered by lawyers who are partners of the Maison étudiante, and will be set up at the request of students wishing to know their rights or take steps to protect them.

The devices take place twice a week on two different MEs:

• Helpdesk - Tuesdays from 3pm to 5:30pm at 76bis rue de Rennes, 75006 Paris
• Discussion group - Tuesdays from 5.30pm to 7pm at 76bis rue de Rennes, 75006 Paris
• Helpdesk - Thursday, 2pm to 6pm at 50 rue des Tournelles, 75003 Paris

Qu’est-ce que le Pass Culture ?

Le Pass Culture est une initiative de service public mise en place par le Ministère de la Culture en France. Ce dispositif permet aux jeunes d’accéder à une application spécialement conçue pour eux. À l’année de leurs 18 ans, ils peuvent bénéficier d’un crédit de 300€ pendant 24 mois. Ce montant sert à découvrir et à réserver des activités culturelles et numériques, comme des livres, des concerts, des spectacles, des visites de musées, et des cours de musique.

Comment ça marche?

Tous les jeunes résidant en France, à partir de leur 18ème anniversaire jusqu’à la veille de leurs 19 ans, ont l’opportunité de faire usage du Pass Culture. Les jeunes peuvent bénéficier et utiliser le crédit directement dans l’application. Grâce à la géolocalisation, les utilisateurs peuvent explorer une large gamme d’activités disponibles près de chez eux. Ils ont la possibilité de choisir et réserver des événements allant des concerts et des pièces de théâtre jusqu’aux livres et aux cours artistiques.

Avantages du Pass Culture

Ce dispositif n’est pas seulement un moyen d’accéder à la culture ; c’est aussi une chance d’élargir ses horizons et de découvrir de nouvelles passions. Que tu sois passionné par la musique, la littérature, ou que tu souhaites explorer le monde artistique, cette application offre une multitude de choix pour enrichir ton expérience culturelle. C’est un atout précieux pour tout jeune souhaitant s’immerger davantage dans le paysage culturel français.

Les consultations bilan de santé médico-psychologique (somatique, nutrition, santé sexuelle, psychologique, etc...) font partie d’un parcours de soins coordonnés.  Elles sont proposées dans 5 centres de santé et 3 centres médico-sociaux à Paris. De plus, ces consultations offrent un suivi psychologique et une orientation vers des médecins spécialistes, comme des gynécologues, selon les besoins des jeunes.

Par ailleurs, les consultations restent gratuites et ne nécessitent aucune avance de frais. Pour les jeunes qui ne possèdent pas de carte vitale et d’ouverture de droits à l’assurance maladie, les centres médico-sociaux permettront d’avoir accès à une Permanence Médico-Sociale (PMS) pour les accompagner dans les démarches administratives. 

Cependant, les séances de suivi psychologique éventuellement prescrites par un médecin généraliste dans les centres de santé n’ont pas vocation à remplacer les prises en charge psychiatrique et psychothérapeutique des CMP et des BAPU. Le nombre de ces séances demeure limité dans le temps. Elles s’adressent à des jeunes en souffrance psychique avec des symptômes rattachés à différents types de situations. En particulier, ces symptômes peuvent inclure des troubles anxieux, des troubles dépressifs, des mésusages d’alcool, de tabac, de cannabis (hors dépendance), ainsi que des troubles de conduites alimentaires sans signes de gravité.
