NovoSports

Novosports is an association under the French law of 1901 whose aim is to create inclusive and innovative sports activities. It offers its sports activities on Mondays from 6pm to 8pm and Wednesdays from 8pm to 9:30pm at Nanterre University. At present, it is looking to set up branches all over France, and particularly in Paris.

8Connect

For a significant proportion of students, confinement has revealed the difficulty of accessing their institution's distance learning services and courses. In 2020, four hundred thousand students declared that they had problems with digital technology, sometimes jeopardizing their education. Precariousness is therefore also digital, and depends on social and geographical factors.
Although solutions were found in the emergency, they sometimes proved insufficient. They have not always provided students with long-term support. What's more, the trend towards hybrid training means that universities and schools must support their students in this massive digital transition.
It was against this backdrop that the 8Connect association was set up at the University of Paris 8.

We're fighting against programmed obsolescence by giving computers a new lease of life, recycling parts from faulty machines and training students in simple repair techniques.
8 Connect fights to reinforce equality of opportunity, by offering all students who need it the opportunity to repair their computer equipment, essential today to succeed in their studies, free of charge.

The cup of tea

A multi-disciplinary dance company that creates and presents shows, La Tasse de Thé also offers cultural mediation around its pieces, open to all types of audience, and sets up free training sessions. Its main commitment is to promote and raise the profile of emerging artists.

Beside

Beside aims to enable emerging artists on the Parisian scene to devote as much time as possible to their music, by supporting them in the artistic, administrative, distribution and communication processes, as well as giving them access to technical training and meetings with music professionals.

The aim of this sponsorship system is to support young artists, whether amateur or aspiring professional, while creating links between students, professionals and the public.

We're also here to support students wishing to work in the music industry in the future.

Messire Ouistiti

Messire Ouistiti is an association that encourages photographers to take the path of solidarity. While perpetuating the Ouistiti Project (free photos for nearly 2,000 students), the ambition, through this example, is to enable other photographers to make a living from photography while offering their services in a spirit of solidarity.
