The Student House is pleased to present the 13 projects of this year's class! ⭐️

P O L Y C Y C L E S

Performance

P O L Y C Y C L E S examines the link between the menstrual cycle and dancers' practice, looking at notions of creativity, pain... The performance aims to invest movement with a way of embodying different issues related to this influence. Whether in a group or on its own, the body experiments with these different states through a fine-tuned, sensitive approach.

A consolation for Newton

Performance

One evening, in Newton's London home, a miracle occurs. Gravity is suspended. Valet, books and teapot float happily away, while Newton, with both feet firmly on the ground, watches helplessly as this crime is committed against his mind.

Une consolation pour Newton is an adaptation of the philosophical text Our need for consolation is impossible to satiate and the author's last true text God visits Newton, both written by Stig Dagerman.

Our common thread is that in his texts, 70 years before our generation, the author gives voice to the first libertarian and ecological demands. A powerful reflection, reintegrating death into life, celebrates a contemplative and liberated existence.

FlOomina Kids

Theater

With FlOomina Kids, Simon OUEINY combines artistic creation and cultural entrepreneurship. In addition to performing Lebanese plays for young audiences that he has written himself and translated into French, he aims to combat inequalities in access to art by offering artistic workshops for residents of working-class neighborhoods.

Boxer shorts

Theater

At nightfall, spectators can admire their phosphorescent effect, which highlights an ecological aspect: coral bleaching (the phenomenon of coral dieback). Faviidae presents a kind of hydroponic system revisited, which cultivates these new hybrid life forms of artificial corals via sound signals.
