Climate Academy

The Académie du Climat is a place for living and sharing, providing the means to understand, experiment and mobilize around environmental challenges.

Opening in September 2021 and located in the former 4th arrondissement town hall, it is a free public space for all.

In the face of climate change, accelerating the ecological transition requires a paradigm shift in our lifestyles and our relationship with nature. The younger generations are particularly mobilized to collectively build a new social project with the largest possible number of people.

The Climate Academy is a unique forum for reflection, meetings, training, support and action on environmental issues.

Every day, a variety of players from the local community, the world of education, scientists, associations, NGOs, entrepreneurs, artists, intellectuals, journalists, students and Parisians come together... and what they have in common is the ambition to accelerate the ecological transition.

A friendly place for information, exchange and practice

Throughout the year, we organize conferences and debates, practical workshops on clothing repair, small appliance repair, cooking, climate frescoes, meetings, symposia, forums, working groups and think tanks, screenings, artistic performances...

During the day, thousands of Parisian schoolchildren follow à la carte learning paths, with an introduction to major climate issues in the classroom, and practical workshops at the Académie du Climat. In partnership with the Académie de Paris, hundreds of eco-delegates from secondary schools also receive support each year to set up projects in their schools.

In addition, the Académie du Climat supports and accompanies certain initiatives throughout the year, either by proposing tailor-made courses such as Start'in ESS with the Maison Étudiante, sports and climate...

The Academy is also a convivial venue with a refreshment bar-canteen offering cultural events such as concerts, plays and stand-up comedy (in addition to local and seasonal catering).
