Du beurre dans leurs Epinards: monthly baskets for students
The Du beurre dans leurs épinards association distributes food parcels and basic necessities to students in difficulty!

The project
Cooked meals? From April to June 2020, during the Covid19 crisis, DBDLE received 150 meals a day, generously prepared by Parisian chefs who are members of the Refettorio Paris movement. With the help of their volunteers, the packages were distributed to needy students in university halls of residence in the Paris region.
Dry parcels? Since March 2020, DBDLE has been collecting many basic necessities from companies. Thanks to volunteers, they put together parcels that they distribute to students in need of a helping hand.
Since June, DBDLE has distributed 2,500 parcels, the equivalent of 24 tonnes of products, and counting!

Become a volunteer
DBDLE organizes one distribution per month at its premises for students. DBDLE needs volunteers for these events. The aim is to welcome students, accompany them to the various stands so that they can put together their food parcels and basic necessities, and share a coffee/tea to exchange ideas between students and volunteers. All in a festive, relaxed atmosphere!
