Mediasso: what is it?

MIE Labo6 offers a free audiovisual training course.
Called "Mediasso", it takes place at Labo6, 76bis Rue de Rennes, 75006 Paris.
This cycle is made up of à la carte training courses devoted to scriptwriting, video directing and post-production.

A LA CARTE TRAINING

Several modules are available:

  • Audiovisual design, with Quentin Lecocq and the association On The Green road.
  • Audiovisual production, with Siméon Baldit de Barral and Dimitri Foucault
  • Audiovisual post-production, with Valentin Baillet and Karl Guillin

Cycle objective: Take ownership of all stages of production

  • Writing a common script
  • Shooting preparation: technical breakdown / location scouting / equipment preparation
  • Appropriation and use of filming equipment (camera, sound, lighting)
  • Indoor and outdoor filming: interviews, illustration shoots
  • Post-production: film editing, illustrations, mixing and color-grading

WORKSHOPS

To ensure that as many associative or individual project leaders as possible can take part, we ask you to ensure that you are be available on the day and at the time of training.

Édocumentary criture - 24/09 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Shooting images is all very well, but telling a story with them is even better!
Depending on your projects and their progress, your wishes and your needs, certain parts may or may not be explored in greater depth, and additional resources to go further in each subject will be made available with the training content.
Objectives :
- Define and list the main narrative schemes
- Define your subject according to a narrative framework
- Organize your shoot according to a framework and a script
- Adapt the script in the editing phase to the script constraints encountered during the shoot.

Video communication - 01/10 from 10am to 3:30pm

Today, video is an indispensable tool in any
field. We use it to express ourselves, to inform, to sell... in short, to communicate on all media and in all formats. The aim of this module is to introduce the uninitiated to video, from preparation to rendering, with a practical workshop on filming.
A Masterclass followed by a workshop. Come and learn and practice like real audiovisual communication pros!

Making a video - 08/10 from 1:30 pm to 5 pm

A day of training in the practice of audiovisual directing with Quentin Lecoq, scriptwriter, director and editor of commercials and short films.

Adobe Premiere editing (in two sessions)

The basics - 15/10 from 1:30 to 5 p.m.

Method and organization to get to grips with editing.
-Opening up and taking your first steps in the Premiere pro application.
-Getting to grips with and familiarizing yourself with the interface.
-Importing rushes and other elements required for editing.
-Derush phase
-Learning the basics of editing.

The suite - 22/10 from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Reminders from the previous week.
-Continuation of editing begun the previous week.
-Pre-mixing.
-Calibration.
-Overview of the main essential effects.
-Exports in different formats.

Formation DaVinci Resolve (in two sessions)

Initiation - 16/11 from 5:30 pm to 9 pm

Karl offers a video introduction to the Da Vinci Resolve editing and color-grading software.

Da Vinci Resolve workshop - 19/11 from 1:30 pm to 6 pm
