Long swept under the carpet, sexist and sexual violence through chemical subjection has been brought out into the open by the resounding news of the Mazan trial.
In France, the acts of drugging a person without their knowledge with a view to committing an assault or crime have been on the rise for 20 years, according to ANSM. Considered an aggravating circumstance in the case of rape by French law since 2018, these acts of violence occur in both the private and public spheres, and are unfortunately legion at festive events, particularly student parties.
We'll be discussing this topic on Thursday December 5 at a conference with :
Founder of the association M'endors pas - Stop à la Soumission Chimique and author of the book "Et j'ai cessé de t'appeler papa" (Ed JC Lattès, 2022)
Founder of CRAFS (Centre de Référence sur les agressions facilitées par les substances) National expert in chemical submission investigations for ANSM (French national health agency)
A conference hosted by Léa Drouellejournalist and founder of the Sorocité media.
